Administration
Andrea Thomas is the Executive Director of Esquimalt Nation (Xʷsepsəm), working closely with Chief and Council to advance strategic priorities, strengthen governance, and support long-term community wellbeing and self-determination. She oversees Nation operations, major capital projects, and organizational growth, bringing more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across Indigenous governance, economic development, and the public sector. Known for her collaborative, heart-driven leadership style and practical approach, Andrea holds a Master of Business Administration and is honoured to work in partnership with Esquimalt Nation’s leadership, staff, and community to help build lasting systems and opportunities for future generations.
